Hi and welcome to my print galleries on Imagekind. Art is a complex subject and people have varied tastes so I hope you'll browse my galleries and find something that interests you. You can see that I like to use color in unexpected ways. Most of my paintings are "unstructured" with minimal geometry. Think abstract expressionism if you will. I often place contrasting colors in close proximity to each other to intensify the color experience. And though it's hard to see on your computer screen there is always a complex layering of texture underneath and around the primary areas of color. All of these paintings are pure digital paintings. I start (and complete) a painting just as if I were painting on canvas in the "real" world. It is harder than it seems it should be what with thousands of brush strokes to complete a painting. You will not find processed or filtered artwork here! Also I try not to use layers while painting to retain the level of complexity in the finished piece. After completion I carefully map the image levels to best reproduce the print on the fine art papers that Imagekind uses. This insures that the print you receive has the vibrant, intense, yet subtle colors that I use and like. You can also choose a simple, gallery style frame to complement the finished print if you wish. Let me say a last word about art and its ability to impact a space. Without sounding crassly commercial I believe that a fine art print, properly framed and placed, is the best single dollar investment in decorating that you can make. It never goes out of style or wears out. And day after day a beautiful print can renew your enegy like nothing else. Thanks for viewing my work and I am always open to your comments and thoughts.
